December 20, 2022

Earlier this month, an Indigenous benefit dinner hosted by Stratford District Secondary School raised $5,000 for Nshwaasnangong Child Care and Family Centre.

Led by teacher Andrew Mavor and guest chef Caitlin Noel-Drews, who is from Birdtail Sioux First Nation, the four-course meal featured traditional Indinous ingredients like bison, buffalo fat and sacred medicines including cedar, sweetgrass and sage.
